A feisty punk inspired individual stares defiantly out of this drawing on paper; like so many of my "portraits" she arrived unannounced and unexpected, merely making use of the water soluble pens and crayons I had at hand on that day, at that moment. Girls like her have changed the world with their fire and determination, putting on their armour of leather, studs and make up to insist on their own space to be.
